QZGA Course Description: This yearlong course focuses on the concepts and principles of earth, life and physical sciences will be studied in accordance with the California State Science Content Standards. 6th graders focus on units such as Populations and Ecosystems, Weather and Water, Motion and Forces. At all grade levels, there is an emphasis on the process of science as student develop their skills in critical thinking, research and investigation. Students will maintain science notebook as we us the Full Option Science System (FOSS) developed at the Lawrence Hall of Science.

There is an emphasis on the process of science as students develop their skills in critical thinking, research and investigation. Students will maintain science notebooks as we use the Full Option Science System (FOSS) developed at the Lawrence Hall of Science.

There is an emphasis on the process of science as students develop their skills in critical thinking, research and investigation.
